About ClearPath

Tech for Execs

ClearPath Tech Advisory exists because technology decisions shouldn't require you to become technical. We describe what we do as Tech for Execs — plain-language technology counsel for executives, the way “for dummies” made complex topics approachable, built for decision makers instead. Leaders at small companies are asked to evaluate vendors, approve budgets, and sign off on systems they'll never operate — often with advice filtered through people who have their own agendas.

We provide a private, neutral source of counsel. You get an experienced technology executive in your corner — not to replace your team, but to help you think clearly, ask better questions, and document decisions you can stand behind.

A bench of experts, on your schedule

Need an expert but only for a minute? Don't know what you need? Don't want to hire someone full time — just as-needed consultation?

That's exactly what we built ClearPath for. We keep a bench of experts across technology strategy, AI, security, systems, vendors, operations — and project & program management for delivery challenges that aren't IT questions — so you have one trusted relationship instead of hunting for a new specialist every time a question comes up.

  • One relationship, many specialties — you don't hunt for a new firm each time
  • Technology advisory and project management counsel — separate practices, same trusted team
  • As-needed access: a single question, a focused session, or ongoing retainer
  • Plain-language answers first — jargon translated before it reaches your desk
  • Private counsel outside your org chart — no politics, no agenda

How the bench works

Your primary advisor knows your business and stays your single point of contact. When a question needs deeper specialty — AI compliance, ERP selection, incident response, contract review — we pull the right expert from the bench for that conversation. You don't manage multiple vendors or re-explain your situation from scratch.

Engagements scale to the moment: a quick async question, a one-hour decision session, a project sprint, or an ongoing retainer. You're never buying more than you need.

Who we work with

  • Owners and CEOs at companies with 10–200 employees
  • COOs and ops leaders inheriting technology decisions
  • Non-technical executives evaluating AI, security, or vendor contracts
  • Nonprofits that need senior counsel without senior counsel budgets

What we believe

  • Plain language beats jargon every time
  • There are no stupid questions — only expensive assumptions
  • Confidentiality isn't a feature, it's the foundation
  • Advice should end in a decision, not another meeting
  • You shouldn't need a full-time hire for a part-time problem
